Lion Trail Absolutely fantastic, well crafted matlock album.

Honestly, when I want some good math rock I go to this one along with bands like Toe, lite, elephant gym etc. The instrumentation here ia phenomenal, the structure of the tracks is intriguing and cathartic.

As a whole it's both relaxing and energetic, which is a magic to my ears.

Wholeheartedly recommended! Favorite track: I'll See You Tomorrow.

Absolutely love this album. I really like the keys, the horns, the grooves and tone that sets this album apart from being just another rock album. It has both power and an atmosphere to make it something even more special to me. some of the lyrics hit close to home as well. The boys have done it again, and then some! I absolutely love the unique sound these guys have - the keys play the spectrum of fun and melancholic atmosphere, distorted powerful vocals, post rock & riffing guitar parts, and energetic killer grooves. The fine writing on it, combined with choir, strings and trumpets produce some cathartic songs.
